Colleague Communications Manager (Projects) - 3 month FTC

Join Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing, Motor and the Senior HR Business Partner, in developing and delivering project specific colleague communications, as part of Motor’s 5-year strategy. Working as part of the Marketing team our ideal team member will have previous experience in delivering colleague communications as part of a complex change programme with excellent verbal and written skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure colleagues understand Motor’s strategy, along with the ‘why, what and how’ around how our strategy will be delivered, including the role they play.
• Develop and deliver project specific colleague communication including, but not limited to:
• Building and owning the project communications framework
• Devising a calendar of communications, across a variety of channels and media
• Work with key stakeholders to develop the creation of messages, aligned to our agreed narrative – including, but not limited to, writing the content, or creating key bullets for others to turn into key content
• Prepare colleague communications content for all project activity included in the communications framework
• Utilise CBMF’s internal communications platform, Pulse, to drive engagement, understanding and buy-in to our strategy
• Monthly reporting on the effectiveness and engagement of all project communications
• Work with the Colleague Communications Manager to ensure alignment across broader, non-project colleague communications.
• Partner with key stakeholders to advise on the project communications strategy. Guide on what they need to consider, and be mindful of when both providing and cascading key content and updates

• A passionate, results driven marketer who has a creative flair
• Tenacious and willing, must be ‘hands-on’ to get the job done
• Experience delivering colleague communications as part of a complex change programme
• Experience of delivering engaging colleague communications and employee events across a variety of channels
• Taking an analytical approach to activity reviews using data and insight to make recommendations for future activity/action
• Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills at all levels, including board members
• Must be able to work under pressure and commit to deadlines. Attention to detail is key
• Must be proactive and flexible, taking ownership of tasks and always seeking to add value wherever possible
