Reporting to: Head of Strategy Enablement
Role Purpose:
The Strategy Enablement function is at the heart of a complex European business and is fundamental in how we develop our near and mid-term priorities and investments in support of the longer-term strategy. Residing within the European Commercial team, the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for developing the European KPIs, managing the reporting cycle and driving insights from the data that enable leadership to take the necessary action. The role will report directly to the Head of Strategy Enablement.
This position requires strong business acumen and a background in driving insights. In addition, an eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management are key. The expectation for the role is that it becomes a key aid to the European leadership team, which can positively affect revenue performance and optimal cross functional collaboration.
The position will be office based, across any of Elavon’s European sites, with an expectation of travel as required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the collation of the European reporting pack, collaborating with stakeholders across business lines while ensuring clarity of commentary for a senior audience.
- Interrogate and analyse a variety of data sources to provide insights on drivers for revenue performance.
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity and provide recommendations to inform prioritisation discussions.
- Own the development and management of strategic KPIs, undertaking root cause analysis and identifying remediation plans where required.
- Own the development of customer lifetime value analytics, providing ongoing insights on the key dimensions including sales channel, products held and geographic location to performance.
- Establish ongoing channel economics that shows both top and bottom-line margin and provides insights into future channel decisions.
- Support the development of European business cases.
