About The Role
Shape the commercial standards that the rest of our industry will follow as a Commercial Assistant. From community-based projects to the largest building and engineering works in the country, we’ve a presence in almost every market. This role will be based at QEH in Birmingham directly on the project within our Regional Buildings division.
What you'll be doing
As a Commercial Assistant in the secure and ever-expanding infrastructure industry, you’ll:
- Manage all Document Execution Requests / Non-Disclosure Agreements / Subcontracts and Consultant Appointments on AdobeSign. Upload and manage completed documentation.
- Update project trackers, Procurement Schedules and Oracle R12 with critical information including dates and values.
- Log, track, manage the flow of information and comments back and forth between all stakeholders for Consultant and Sub-Contract Appointments, Collateral Warranties, product Warranties, and execution of all documents.
- Organise and chair Teams meetings where appropriate to ensure timely responses to Contractual matters for Consultant and Sub-Contract Appointments and Collateral Warranties.
Who we're looking for
To progress your career with us as a Commercial Assistant, you’ll need:
- Previous work experience of this or similar nature
- Methodical approach to time and work management
- Knowledge of the role of the commercial function
- Good communication, organisation skills and a team player
- Analytical thinking and decision making
- Data management and analysis
- The ideal candidate would have experience of working in a Legal setting, although this experience is less important that a can-do attitude
