Salary: £27,630 to £39,345 per annum
Sponsorship: We are unable to consider visa sponsorship for this position.
Government Security Clearance: You will be required to go through SC level government security clearance once in role.
About the role:
Exciting opportunity to join our commercial team in a Commercial Officer position supporting our business areas.
You’ll support the provision of commercial services across the NCC in the areas identified below. The role holder is expected to work collaboratively with the Commercial Lead and with the relevant Sector Teams, using their judgement to identify high risk items and escalate as appropriate.
You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the exposure to contractual risk is appropriately managed within relevant individual Sector Teams.
This is a relatively junior role, so you will need some related experience to be considered but we are happy to provide training and up skilling. We will also put you through SC level government security clearance once in role.
Team Specific Activities:
2) Supporting the Commercial Team’s ‘Capability Lead’ for specific commercial processes. Examples of relevant processes include but are not limited to;
What you’ll be doing:
Support and management of contracts which do not use the standard NCC T’s and C’s, including, but not limited to: commercial research projects, collaborative research projects, including reviewing contract terms, NDA’s, grant offer letters, collaboration agreements and other relevant commercial agreements.
