We are looking for an OFF Commercial Coordinator to join our committed team based in our Tilbrook (MK7 8BN) office to provide direct support to the International Freight Forwarding business in all aspects of commercial activities to ensure business objectives are met.
The position will offer a salary of £30 - £35,500 (DOE) and an opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week with Monday & Tuesday onsite.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the daily workload of quotations received from clients, RHQ, UK Sales and/or Yusen Network, in line with department KPI’s.
- Engage and liaise with local Shipping Lines and/or Haulier contacts to obtain and negotiate day to day pricing required.
- Attend and contribute to local carrier meetings as and when required.
- Maintain and distribute ocean freight forwarding related tariffs and/or product tools for use by the wider OFF department.
- Support the OFF Sales team with quotations and service information relating to OFF products.
- Attend and participate in OFF Commercial Team meetings (Tilbrook site).
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the OFF Commercial Team Leader and/or OFF Commercial Manager as may be required in line with the department and/or company strategies or needs.
Key requirements
- Proven experience & industry knowledge of Ocean Freight operations.
- Highly organised with ability to work under pressure and to deadline.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and Customer Service Skills.
- Flexible approach and ability to prioritise.
- Commercial mindset and great attention to detail.
- A strong financial understanding (profit & loss).
- Good understanding and knowledge of incoterms.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills are essential.
- Proactive approach and being able to respond to new challenges.
- Confident in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & SharePoint. Knowledge and experience of using Power BI is highly advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of logistics operations.
