About the Role

• Lead and expand sponsorship and delegate revenue streams, ensuring achievement of ambitious annual targets.
• Develop and implement a robust commercial strategy aligned with the event's overall objectives.
• Engage in high-level negotiations and manage key accounts to maximise client investment and retention.
• Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the global energy market to enhance event positioning and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Over 10 years of senior leadership experience in commercial, sales, or business development within large-scale exhibitions or B2B events.
• Proven track record of driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams across international markets.
• Exceptional negotiation and strategic thinking abilities, with a solid background in developing long-term commercial strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior executives globally.
