THE ROLE
Commercial Executive – Scotland
Reports to: Commercial Director
Location: Hybrid or Home-Based (with occasional office visits)
Department: Commercial Executive – Lead Generation Team
Role Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Commercial Executive with a proven track record to join our dynamic Lead Generation team. The successful candidate will be outbound calling from various targeted marketing campaigns, follow up on inbound leads, build client interest, and contribute to business growth. You will be comfortable speaking to potential customers on the phone, identifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
The main focus of this role will be outbound calling and nurturing data to generate qualified leads and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients using provided lists or sourced leads.
- Introduce AAB’s services to potential customers and generate interest – cross sell at source
- Identify decision-makers (CEO/MDs/CFOs and other SME leaders) and qualify leads based on set criteria.
- Schedule virtual or in-person appointments for the Business Development and Service teams.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Assist with email follow-ups and administrative tasks.
- Cross-sell additional services or products during appointment scheduling where appropriate.
- Transition qualified leads to the relevant internal team member.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients and prospects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role with a telemarketing or lead generation element.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Clear and persuasive verbal communication, including strong telephone etiquette.
- Ability to manage multiple appointments and track client information effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle objections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting targets.
