Job title: Commercial & Export Assistant

Salary: £33,039+ (depending on skills and experience)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and support the preparation and presentation of Bids & Proposals
- Assist in the negotiation of proposals with potential Customers and ensure that acceptable, agreed positions are captured appropriately in any subsequent business agreements and or contract
- Produce initial drafts of simple contracts / agreements for review by others for both Commercial and Export Control
- Play a supporting role in Export Control compliance by drafting and submitting UK export licence requests and other correspondence and supporting with export control data in the SAP system
- Support the Commercial Function in responding to any stakeholder queries both internal and external, to ensure existing contracts run smoothly
- Work closely with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure that all key terms and conditions are flowed to sub-contractors
- Completing monthly reports and business updates to our leadership team both in WSUK and Platforms and Services (P&S)
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Demonstrates an awareness of the role of the Commercial/Contracts/Export Control
- Ability to engage and communicate at all levels, within the business including at Project Level and Senior Leadership
- Confident in using Microsoft Office programs
- Experience or knowledge of bid and contract management
Desirable
- Prior knowledge of working with Terms & Conditions and understanding of the principles of Export Control
- Working towards Commercial Developing You Practitioner Programme
