Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a Commercial Accountant to join our divisional Finance team at AMFRESH UK, Alconbury. Reporting into the Senior FP&A Manager, this role will work closely with senior members of the FP&A and Commercial teams and will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, insight and analysis to support business performance.

In this role, you will take ownership of the preparation, review and distribution of weekly accounts, commercial reports and financial performance packs. You will support the month-end process through detailed analysis, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency across reporting. A core focus will be developing insight behind the numbers, helping the business to understand performance drivers, risks and opportunities.

You will partner closely with commercial and operational stakeholders across the business, supporting decision-making and adding value through robust financial insight. The role offers broad exposure across our commercial operations, working with some of the UK’s largest supermarket customers, and provides a hands-on opportunity to understand how financial performance translates into real-world commercial activity. A key part of the role will be to dive deep into data, understanding the levers that drive profitability, performance and growth. You will contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, controls and processes, helping to strengthen financial visibility and commercial effectiveness.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset, excellent analytical capability and experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
