POSITION: Commercial Intern

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Assist the Commercial and Retail Team in daily tasks and projects to achieve gross and retail sales targets, key accounts management, reporting and sales administration.
Job Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Reporting and Administration
- New Door Support: Assist with the opening of new retail locations, including the completion of all necessary ACD forms.
- Franchise Reporting & Data Management: Support the generation of franchise reports by door, contribute to data entry tasks, participate in beauty intelligence projects, and assist with maintaining and updating dashboards.
- Retailer Stock Management: Support the monitoring of Rate of Sale by product line and door, providing recommendations for stockholding and order quantities.
- Assortment Optimisation: Review product assortments by door and retailer, ensuring alignment with category management principles and maintaining updated selections.
- New Launch Support: Assist with New Line Forms (NLFs) to facilitate successful product introductions.
- Out-of-Stock Management: Support the collation of Out-of-Stock reports for both retail locations and online channels.
- Order Tracking: Track and manage unfulfilled orders to provide insights for forecasting meetings.
- Returns: Supporting Key Account with coordinating returns process.
E-Retail
- New Launch Support (E-Retail):Assist with online product launches by downloading and renaming imagery and completing digital product information requirements.
- E-Retail Site Monitoring: Conduct weekly site-walks of e-retail partner websites to monitor and report on retailer activities, including promotions, visibility, and brand image.
- Online POSM Support: Support Point of Sale Material (POSM) activities for online retailers, including the dispatch of products, samples, or Gifts with Purchase (GWPs) as needed.
Retail Co-ordination
- Training & Onboarding Support: Support new starter and seasonal training initiatives by assisting with travel planning and booking, room/venue setup, and lunch preparation.
- Internal Communications: Update and distribute the monthly newsletter to keep internal stakeholders informed.
- Counter Support: Dispatch essential counter tools, such as trade reports and daily sheets, to retail locations.
- Incentive & Gift Management: Manage the distribution of brand gifts and incentives to Points of Sale (POS) and retailers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION Key Competencies Fluent in English Analytical skills Highly numerate IT skills Solid interpersonal skills Self-starter Team player Proactive attitude; can do attitude Profile Graduate with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills Experience in sales and or marketing within the luxury environment would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Technical Skills Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in using formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and charting for data analysis and reporting. Microsoft PowerPoint: Ability to create compelling and visually appealing presentations.
