Reds10 are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Sector Lead to oversee and drive the commercial strategy across our public sector. Based at our modern and vibrant Central London office, this is a high-impact role ideal for a strategic commercial leader with a strong background in public sector construction and pre/post-contract commercial management.
Reporting at Director level, you will play a central role in delivering profitable growth, optimising commercial performance, and strengthening our reputation as the go-to industrialised construction partner for government clients.

Who we are looking for:
- A dynamic and strategic Commercial Lead to shape and drive Reds10’s commercial success and long-term growth.
- Senior leadership position with cross-functional influence at board level.
- Responsible for delivering cost, commercial, and supply chain strategies across the full project lifecycle—from bid to completion and beyond.
- Accountable for ensuring timely, on-budget project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Expected to lead and develop a high-performing commercial team and foster resilient, value-driven supplier partnerships.
- Will implement and continuously improve commercial systems and processes that align with Reds10’s operational and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial strategy across Reds10, delivering cost, supply chain and profitability goals aligned with company-wide growth objectives.
- Manage risk and opportunity at both project and portfolio level, ensuring robust commercial oversight from tender through to operation.
- Establish best-value procurement processes and resilient supply chains, supported by standardised contracts that embed quality, safety, carbon, and social value.
- Oversee project cost control, including accurate forecasting, valuation, change management, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing commercial team, supporting talent development, recruitment, and a strong culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure compliance and governance, representing the business in negotiations and maintaining adherence to all regulatory, legal and internal standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive senior-level commercial leadership experience, ideally in off-site, modular, or complex construction environments.
- Strong track record in both pre- and post-contract commercial management on large-scale projects.
- Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that deliver measurable business impact.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and management with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing commercial and cost management teams.
- Solid knowledge of procurement regulations, H&S legislation, and compliance standards; chartered status (e.g., RICS, CIOB) preferred.
