The role
We’re looking for a commercially astute and talented commercial litigator to join our growing Litigation, Regulatory & Compliance team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate or Principal Associate (4+ PQE) to work alongside Andrew Whalley and our nationally recognised team on complex, high-value commercial disputes.
With a loyal and expanding client base that includes FTSE-listed companies, global household names, and innovative start-ups, this role offers the chance to work on a wide range of contentious matters and play a key role in the team’s continued success.
Why Join Us?
- National Reach, Local Strength: Our LRC team spans all UK jurisdictions, including Scotland and Northern Ireland, and is regularly instructed on international litigation and arbitration matters
- Diverse and High-Profile Work: You’ll advise on all aspects of commercial dispute resolution—court proceedings, arbitration, and ADR—across sectors such as financial services, technology, real estate, and more.
- Specialist Support: The team includes experts in telecoms and technology disputes, financial services disputes, insurance, competition, regulatory investigations, and more, offering a collaborative and knowledge-rich environment
- Culture & Flexibility: We offer a genuinely supportive and inclusive culture, with hybrid working, national collaboration, and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and development.
We’d love to hear from you if you have a strong grounding in commercial litigation, ideally with experience in managing complex disputes. Experience in technology or cross-border litigation is a plus but not essential.
You will need to be a confident communicator who enjoys client contact and is comfortable leading on matters. Ours is a collaborative environment and you will thrive here if you’re keen to contribute to business development and mentoring junior colleagues./'
