What you'll be doing
As a Commercial Manager, You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the commercial delivery of projects from tender through to completion.
- Managing contracts, procurement strategies, and supply chain relationships.
- Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, CVRs, and commercial reports.
- Driving value engineering and digital innovation in cost planning.
- Overseeing risk and opportunity management, disallowed costs, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure commercial success.
- Mentoring and developing commercial staff, supporting their journey to professional qualification.
- Representing the company in client meetings and promoting our values and behaviours.
You’ll also play a key role in recruitment, training, and engagement with schools and universities to support future talent.
Who we're looking for
We’re Seeking a Commercially Astute Leader With
- A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
- Chartered membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB.
- Proven experience in commercial management within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to manage complexity and drive results.
- A passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- A deep understanding of governance, cost engineering, procurement, and project controls.
