As part of BAE Systems Platforms and Services sector, Weapon Systems (UK) designs, develops, manufactures and supports artillery systems, naval guns, and provides engineering capability to the wider BAE Systems business. What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids with UK and international Customers and ensure that acceptable, agreed positions are captured appropriately in any subsequent business agreements and or contract
- Draft basic contracts / agreements with little supervision and contributes to the development of more complex contracts
- Prepare and support the preparation and presentation of LCM reviews and Request for Bid Approval material ensuring the necessary approvals are obtained within the governance of the operational framework
- Generate suitable NDA and teaming agreements in accordance with Commercial policy
- Support senior Commercial colleagues by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and proposals
- Provide commercial support and contract administration support to a project or business stream
- Follow up activities to ensure inputs from others are received and progressed to conclusion
Your skills and experiences:
- Relevant experience in Business Studies, Legal, Supply Chain or Procurement
- An understanding of commercial contracts and contract negotiation
- Experience dealing with stakeholders and as part of a cross functional team
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of dealing with UK MoD Terms and conditions
