The Role
As a Commercial Reporting Analyst, you play a central role in overhauling our approach to providing our commercial teams with actionable insight in an efficient and impactful manner. You will be involved in building our foundation of common reporting tools for frontline commercial teams to use on a daily basis both with partners and for internal purposes.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to support commercial leaders with ad-hoc commercial analysis as required. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Reporting & Analytics, you will be part of a wider team of seven, each of whom will take responsibility for a key part of our commercial reporting and analytics capability. Through your work, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our commercial teams across markets, Data Science, Analytics Engineering and the Restaurant Experience team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Building and delivering the suite of standard reports used by all frontline commercial individuals and commercial leaders across markets
- Drive the rationalisation of commercial reports across Deliveroo to align with the needs of key commercial personas
- Design standardised dashboards that improve clarity, reduce duplication, and drive efficiency in decision-making
- Maintain regularly quality audits of all reports to ensure any data errors are captured and rectified quickly
- Managing partner-facing reporting that is not yet integrated into Restaurant Hub
- Drive the standardisation and automation of partner-facing reporting, including performance reporting for key business reviews (e.g. MBRs, QBRs)
- Produce clear and accurate MBR / MAR reporting for commercial leadership
- Delivering ad-hoc performance deep-dives for commercial leaders

- Problem-solving & Strategic Thinking: Exhibits ability to identify most important causes of an issue; focuses time and effort accordingly. Generates thoughtful hypotheses and recommendations based on underlying issues in addition to surface observations.
- Data analytics: Strong grounding in statistical theory and its application in real world situation, capable to interrogate large data sets efficiently, proficient in use of BI tools (Looker, Tableau etc),
- Project Management: ability to manage and progress multiple projects simultaneously involving several stakeholders across both Commercial and other Deliveroo functions
- Business Acumen: Firm understanding of Deliveroo’s overarching business model and core customers. Possesses enough domain context to make effective trade offs within projects.
- Communication & Influence: Proactively keeps stakeholders updated on projects at the right cadence. Consistently collaborates effectively across teams. Able to document and present ideas clearly in small groups.
- Community-Building: A team player who readily collaborates cross-functionally and can resolve areas of misalignment or conflict between teams
