The Opportunity
As a Commercial Strategy Lead New Product Planning Ophthalmology within the Medical & Clinical team, based in the United Kingdom with a hybrid work arrangement, you will play a pivotal role in co-leading initiatives under the new Asset Maximisation Model. This position is central to shaping strategies that advance patient care through innovative therapies. Your contributions will directly support our mission to Change Tomorrow™ by integrating stakeholder insights into strategic planning and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive success.

Key Responsibilities
- Co-lead the Asset Maximisation Team to develop and implement asset strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Analyse market dynamics and identify opportunities for future entrants within the evolving healthcare landscape.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders in Value Delivery, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to ensure a unified program approach.
- Drive strategic marketing development for the Primary Focus Area, contributing to mid-term strategies and annual planning cycles.
- Engage external stakeholders to gather insights that inform recommendations for pipeline assets.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive experience in Commercial Strategy, with a strong focus on New Product Planning.
- Proven leadership in Ophthalmology and other therapeutic areas, driving success through cross-functional collaboration.
- Robust marketing capabilities, with a track record of delivering results in both pipeline and inline marketing.
- Skilled in presenting complex issues to senior management and contributing meaningfully to strategic decision-making.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Biotechnology or Global Marketing with increasing responsibilities.
- Knowledge of the Development Lifecycle from clinical trials to product launch.
- Familiarity with internal functional operations such as Medical Affairs, Development, and Supply Chain.
Education
- BS/BA degree in a science or equivalent.

- Location UK office (Addlestone).
- This position follows our hybrid working model with the expectation for some office presence in our UK office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
