What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to lead the planning, execution, and handover of commissioning activities on a major industrial project. You’ll manage teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure all systems are tested and validated to meet safety and quality standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and drive detailed commissioning plans covering pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start up phases
• Lead and coordinate commissioning teams, ensuring tasks are staffed with skilled personnel
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, vendors, and operations to ensure smooth commissioning processes
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures
• Oversee system and equipment testing, inspection, and validation to confirm design and operational requirements
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime during commissioning
• Produce comprehensive commissioning reports, documenting progress, findings, and improvement recommendations
• Manage the final plant handover to operations, including training and documentation
• Identify risks during commissioning and implement mitigation strategies

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Proven experience managing commissioning on large-scale industrial or process projects
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Problem-solving mindset with experience in troubleshooting technical commissioning challenges
