Abbots Care are seeking kind and compassionate members of our local community to join our expanding team in Dorset and surrounding areas, such as ferndown and wimborne aswell as other surrounding areas.
Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.
Our community-based support care workers provide care to our clients within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression.
Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and Induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.
The Role of a community care assistant includes:
- Providing personal care including administering of medication
- Supporting our clients with social activities
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Supporting with domestic tasks within their homes
- Offering ongoing companionship to our clients
- Supporting your clients with their hobbies and social interests.
