Job Summary:
This multifaceted role sits at the heart of GWR’s Global TV & Digital Team. The Community Manager is responsible for building, nurturing, and engaging our online communities across a variety of social media platforms.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the brand’s presence is consistent, lively, and responsive to audience needs. The Community Manager oversees daily communications, content scheduling, audience interactions, and supports business objectives through social channels, customer engagement, and risk management.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as journalism, media studies/communications
Experience: Tangible experience in a similar role (3-4 years preferable)
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· A curiosity for facts, stats, human interest stories, history, sport, nature and more.
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation is required.
· Proficiency in Premiere Pro for short-form video editing is highly desirable.
· Background or formal training in journalism highly desirable.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
· Demonstrated experience in community engagement and management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident and personable in both written and on-camera communications.
· Ability to identify emerging trends and respond proactively in fast-paced, multi-platform environments.
· Detail-oriented with good judgment to identify and escalate risk or compliance issues appropriately.
· A proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset in a collaborative team setting.
· Experience collaborating with creative, editorial and technical teams
