Bluebird Care Trafford are seeking a part time Community Nurse, who has previous complex care experience. This is a varied role, working with all ages, where you can a make a positive impact on the quality of life for our customers.

Community Nurse Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing the clinical care delivery for our customers in the community who have complex healthcare needs; writing assessments, creating and updating care plans, risk assessments and protocols
• Providing staff training in clinical areas; undertaking supervisions and competency assessments
• Liaising closely as part of a multidisciplinary team, to achieve customer outcomes
• Responsible for the management of infection control, including reporting and staff training
• Having oversight of our Health and Wellbeing Checks service
  
  

This is a salaried role for 16 hours per week, split over 2 days; however some degree of flexibility regarding working hours/days is essential in order to meet the needs of the service. There may be scope for hours to increase as business grows.

• Registered Nurse with current NMC pin
• Driver, with access to your own vehicle, including business insurance
• Experienced and competent with clinical skills (PEG, stoma/jejunostomy, recycling)
• Confident with training others and supervising care staff
• Knowledge and understanding of adult and children's safeguarding
• Actual salary of £12,480- £16,224 depending on skills and experience (equivalent to hourly rate of £15 - £19.50 per hour or FT 40 hours salary of £31,200 - £40,560)
• 33 days holiday a year (including bank holidays), pro rata
