12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-time
What you'll be doing
As The Go-to Finance Expert, You’ll
- Lead the production of monthly management accounts and insightful variance analysis.
- Own the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise directly with auditors.
- Drive budgeting and forecasting to support lender updates.
- Manage payments to subcontractors and lenders with precision.
- Administer loan agreements and maintain strong relationships with lenders.
- Handle VAT and CIS returns with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and evolve our Finance Policies and Procedures.
- Forecast cash flow, manage treasury deposits, and oversee bank balances.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager on technical accounting matters like IFRIC 12.
- Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in line with contracts and standards.
- Prepare reconciliations, tax calculations, and support internal audits.
You’ll Build Strong Connections Across
- Customers, suppliers, lenders, auditors, and HMRC.
- Internal teams including shareholders, finance, operations, and tax specialists.
Who we're looking for
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Qualified or nearly qualified accountant status.
- PFI experience and SUN Accounts knowledge are a plus.
- Strong technical accounting skills and IT proficiency (Excel & Word).
- A proactive mindset with excellent communication and prioritisation skills.
