Compliance analyst

We are working with a top-tier US Law firm who are looking for a compliance analyst to join their growing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain compliance with the firm’s AML policies and procedures
• Assist with client audit processes.
• Remain up to date with and monitor legal and regulatory developments in compliance
• Conduct client due diligence research and PEP and sanctions screening using various third-party databases and web-based research;
• Review, interpret and risk assess the results of the research and complete client and matter risk assessments;
• Manage on-going status monitoring and report internally as required;
• Assist with general compliance matters, including the insider list process, gifts and hospitality recording; modern slavery, managing on-line compliance training
• Respond to and communicate with partners, fee earners and staff at all levels relating to the interpretation of relevant legislation, regulation and the firm’s PCPs;
• Ad hoc compliance related duties and projects as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in a compliance team within a law firm
• Educated to degree level, ideally in law
• Working knowledge of SRA Regulatory requirements
• Team player and strong communicator
