Compliance Associate (Private Equity)

Acre is delighted to have partnered with a global private equity impact investment firm that backs businesses across several impact themes. The organisation has 50+ growth portfolio companies across the globe, with the team now looking to strengthen its London-based compliance function as the business grows.

This position is a Compliance Associate, working directly with the Chief Compliance Officer in a generalist position. You will gain exposure to the full suite of regulatory and financial crime responsibilities across a multi-jurisdictional platform, while supporting senior leadership and engaging with investment, legal, and finance.

Example duties

• Regulatory Compliance & Financial Crime Prevention
• Staying abreast of FCA and other regulatory developments.

Advisory Support

• Preparing reports for senior management and contributing to corporate projects.
• Providing ad hoc regulatory guidance across the business

Monitoring & Risk Management

• Helping to build the risk matrix and global compliance monitoring programme.
• Supporting policy reviews, updates, and regional alignment.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a compliance professional with experience in private equity, private credit or broader private markets, who is comfortable operating in a hands-on, scaling environment.

• Minimum 4 years' professional compliance experience within financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to private markets.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Integrity, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach.
