Compliance Lead

We’re supporting a profitable, fast-growing fintech who are now looking for Compliance Lead to join the team and work closely with the Founder. It’s a broad and varied role that touches everything from product compliance to day-to-day legal questions, and it’s a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently and wants to be part of shaping something from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising on regulatory and legal matters across new and existing products
• Reviewing and maintaining legal documents (terms, policies, agreements, etc.)
• Supporting the business on compliance areas like Consumer Credit and Payment Services regulations
• Providing input on risk assessments and new growth initiatives
• Handling ongoing legal matters as they come up — you'll be the first legal/compliance hire, so autonomy is key

Who This Role Might Suit

• Experienced professionals with 10+ years in compliance or legal roles within fintech or financial services
• Can work independently and is comfortable in a small, fast-moving environment
• Brings good judgment and a clear, practical approach to legal questions
• Is comfortable wearing multiple hats — legal, compliance, product
• Has a collaborative mindset and a positive attitude (it matters)

Bonus if you’ve held SMF roles before, but not essential.
