Flexibility: Hybrid with expectation of 50/50 split of office and home working
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working hours: 35 hours per week

The Opportunity
The Governance Team at MDDUS is dedicated to developing robust governance frameworks, providing effective operational and regulatory assurance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Governance Team. The Compliance Manager will play a vital role in leading and developing our compliance framework across the company.
The right candidate will manage the compliance obligations across the business ensuring that we are always ahead of the regulatory curve, consistently delivering good customer outcomes, and meeting our operational, regulatory, and legal obligations.
Teamwork is essential in this role building strong relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholder across the business is key.
Essential
What you will bring
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role - delivering consistently and to high standards
- Experienced in compliance review design, control testing and report writing.
- Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment.
- Ability to interpret and communicate regulatory requirements across the business.
- Ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships across all levels of the business.
- Strong attention to detail with organisational and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power BI.

- Business, Compliance or Risk Qualification
- Experience of working in Financial Services, preferably insurance
