The role
The position of the Compliance Manager, based in London, will report to the Head of Risk & Compliance, who has overall responsibility for the Risk and Compliance function. This role will lead, coordinate and deliver the Compliance roadmap, working across the Financial Services division
As Compliance Manager, the role has responsibility for fostering and maintaining a strong culture of compliance across Soldo. This includes: ensuring that our risk management and regulatory compliance programs are in line with regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations; that plans to meet new regulatory requirements are in place and managed for a timely delivery program across the organization; that adequate training programs are developed and deployed across the business; and, Being responsible for horizon scanning of regulations in the UK but potentially also beyond the UK depending on future company expansion plans.
The successful candidate will ensure that daily compliance risk management and regulatory reporting, including metrics, trend analysis, and progress made against action plans are in place. In carrying out this role, the person will engage with external stakeholders, including Regulators (as necessary), and will work collaboratively and act as a point of contact for advice with many internal teams across the business, including AML/CFT, Legal, Operations, customer interaction and technology & IT platform teams. The person will also ensure consistent approach to compliance standards across SFS Ltd, and SFS Dac while maintaining full compliance with all applicable jurisdictional requirements.
