We’re hiring a Compliance Officer to help us scale our impact at the intersection of climate, finance, and innovation.

🔍 About the Role
As our new Compliance Officer, you’ll work closely with our General Counsel and COO to ensure robust, scalable compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions (including the UK, EU, and US). You’ll lead day-to-day compliance operations, support regulatory readiness, and contribute to legal operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
📍 Location: United Kingdom (Remote-first, with part-time London office attendance desirable)
🕒 Availability: Min. 20 hours/week – flexible
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible
💼 What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years in compliance, risk, or legal-adjacent roles (insurance/insurtech preferred)
- Understanding of the UK’s financial regulatory landscape, particularly the rules and expectations of the Financial Conduct Authority and/or equivalent insurance regulatory bodies in other jurisdictions
- Knowledge of UK corporate compliance frameworks, including data protection (UK GDPR), corporate governance, anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention
- Familiarity with Lloyd’s of London compliance requirements is a strong plus
- A proactive, systems-oriented mindset
- Passion for climate, innovation, and building from the ground up
