Job Summary

Due to continued growth, we have vacancies for Professional Service Technicians at UAP Manchester to undertake maintenance and installation work on our UK customer’s compressed air systems, including Air Compressors, Air Treatment, Control Systems, Pipework, Refrigeration (FGAS) & Nitrogen Generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on compressed air systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in air compressors and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Basic Qualifications

• Level 3 in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline is preferred but not essential.
• Full UK Driving license
• Computer literate

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based with travel between various branches within the UAP Group.

Key Competencies

• Experience in maintaining compressed air systems is essential. Applications are invited from Compressed Air Technicians with a minimum of 5 years of experience but applicants with less experience will be considered
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in compressed air systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform work to high standards of quality
