Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Engineer located in High Wycombe. In this role, you will be responsible for converting contractor-provided lighting layouts into precise, detailed CAD designs. You'll use AutoCAD to develop high-quality technical drawings and backdrops, exporting these into our in-house software. A key part of your work will involve populating system databases with lighting icons and network trees to support pre-commissioning processes. You’ll ensure all schematics and technical drawings meet the highest engineering standards, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve design and technical challenges. Maintaining accurate documentation and providing technical input to support the Estimating team will also be part of your day-to-day. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas aimed at improving product functionality, design workflows, and overall system efficiency.
