Description
Conference Producer – MA Exhibitions

Hybrid (Herne Hill, 3 days in office)

The salary is up to £32,000 (DOE) plus company benefits.

This role is designed to research the ideas shaping our industries and turn them into engaging conference programmes that bring experts, businesses and audiences together.

As Conference Producer, you will play a key role in shaping, developing and delivering conference programmes that sit at the heart of our events. You will work in a fast paced media and events environment where research, audience insight, collaboration and commercial awareness all come together to create meaningful experiences.

This role is central to content creation, speaker engagement and the overall success of our conferences. You will identify emerging trends, translate insights into engaging agendas, and collaborate closely with colleagues across marketing, sales and operations to deliver events that attract strong audiences and support sponsorship and exhibitor growth.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is curious about industries and ideas, and is motivated by bringing people together through well researched and expertly delivered conference programmes.

As Conference Producer, You’ll

  • Conduct primary and desk research with industry experts, regulators and stakeholders to identify key trends and insights shaping each event.
  • Turn research findings into clear, engaging conference agendas that reflect the most important themes in the market.
  • Identify and secure high profile speakers, managing relationships from initial outreach through to the event itself.
  • Design engaging programme formats including panels, roundtables and workshops, while identifying opportunities for valuable programme add ons.
  • Work closely with marketing to produce strong campaign messaging and ensure the conference programme is clearly communicated to potential attendees.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support sponsorship and delegate revenue opportunities through relevant and commercially focused content.
  • Lead the delivery of the conference programme onsite, coordinating speakers, AV and teams to ensure sessions run smoothly.

Must-haves

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in B2B conference production.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate insights into engaging conference programmes.
  • Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders, industry experts and potential speakers.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • The confidence to carry out research calls, including outreach to new speakers and industry contacts.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clear marketing copy and programme content.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with marketing, sales and operations teams.

  • Nice-to-haves

    • Experience in producing hybrid or virtual event sessions.
    • Exposure to international events or multi-location conference delivery.
    • Understanding of how conference content drives commercial outcomes, like sponsorship or delegate growth.

If you do not meet every requirement but bring transferable skills, sound judgement and fresh thinking, we encourage you to apply.
