Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill is a rapidly changing, dynamic part of the Lockheed Martin Corporation with both domestic and international customers.

It consists of three business areas focusing on Vehicles, Special Projects and Mission Support, which provide a variety of products and services to the MoD and other customers including the Scout and support to the Land Environment Air Picture Provision capability.

This is a new Configuration and Data Management role to supplement the CADM Team across various Business Areas of the Company, including Special Projects and Platform Systems.

This is a role driven by Uncrewed Turret design activity.

What will I be doing?

You will be required to perform Configuration and Data Management (CADM) activities as defined in the CADM department on various Business Area programmes.

You will be expected to follow all Configuration and Data Management practices defined therein and also documented internal CADM Processes and Procedures (Touchstone) that relate to performance of duties on the Programme.

What skills will I need?

• Strong working knowledge and experience in the key facets of Configuration Management:
• Management and Planning.
• Configuration Identification.
• Change Control.
• Configuration Status Accounting.
• Verification and audit.
• In addition the candidate must have:
• A working knowledge of DEF-STAN 05-57.
• Core IT skills, Microsoft Product Set and PDM tools (Windchill/Teamcenter).
• A General Understanding of Software Configuration Management.
