What you’ll be doing:

This role supports the development and oversight of SJP’s Conflicts of Interest (COI) framework. You’ll lead on policy design, risk assessments, training, and regulatory reporting, ensuring Group-wide adherence to COI requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update COI policies, procedures, and registers.
  • Conduct annual risk assessments and horizon scanning.
  • Coordinate mandatory training and COI communications.
  • Investigate and report suspected breaches to regulatory bodies.

Who we’re looking for:

An experienced compliance professional with in-depth knowledge of COI requirements and strong communication skills. You should be confident advising on regulation and driving procedural improvements.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Expertise in financial crime legislation and COI frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret regulatory change.
  • Strong report writing and policy drafting skills.
  • Broad understanding of SJP’s business model and governance.
  • Experience conducting investigations and coordinating audits.

Desirable:

  • ICA Advanced Certificate or similar (or willingness to study).
  • Experience engaging with external regulators.
  • Knowledge of global COI frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
