Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Doncaster for a Construction Health & Safety Manager. The role entails overseeing and improving health and safety protocols on construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing safety procedures, delivering training, and promoting a safe work environment. The Health & Safety Manager will also investigate incidents, maintain safety documentation, and provide support to ensure adherence to policies by all team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and compliance procedures
• Experience in construction site management and safety protocol development
• Proficient in conducting safety audits and maintaining safety documentation
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
• Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable
• Familiarity with the heavy industrial, mineral extraction, or engineering industries is an advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site and ensure a safety-first culture
