Company Overview:

Ant Yapi UK is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager specialising in residential projects to oversee the entire construction process — from demolition of existing buildings through to completion and handover of new residential developments. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of the construction management team, consultants, subcontractors and various stakeholders ensuring smooth execution and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate on-site construction activities.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, planning conditions, contract obligations, and tolerances.
• Manage subcontractors and package managers to achieve programme milestones.
• Proactively identify risks, hazards, and blockers; develop and enforce recovery plans.
• Oversee temporary works, logistics, material deliveries, welfare, and neighbour relations.
• Monitor subcontractor resources, performance, and progress against baseline schedules.
• Ensure quality management, HSE compliance, and effective record-keeping.
• Chair programme meetings, progress reviews, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support commercial teams with subcontractor selection, contracts, and payment approvals.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Construction Manager on residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades.
• Detail-oriented, with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and maintain a solution-focused approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work on a contract basis for the entire project duration.
• Hold CSCS card, SMSTS, TWC and First Aid certificates.
• Membership of a professional body e.g. MCIOB, ICE, MRICS, MAPM.

Salary: Depends on experience.
