What you'll be doing
As
Civils Construction Manager, you’ll take charge of a major section of the works.
You Will
- Lead and coordinate construction activities across civils work package on a major converter station build
- Manage safety, quality, logistics and production with a clear focus on programme delivery
- Implement best-in-class health & safety practices and drive a strong site culture
- Engage with stakeholders including supply chain, designers, JV partners, and clients
- Apply innovative methods like BIM and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)
- Support sustainability goals and ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Foster and mentor your team, bringing the Balfour Beatty behaviours to life
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience managing civils construction in complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Expert understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and short-term planning
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management
- Competence in site logistics, quality assurance, and construction programme delivery
- Familiarity with digital tools including 3D modelling and planning software
- Commitment to safety, sustainability and our inclusive site culture
