We are looking for a Construction Manager (Data Centres / Technical Spaces) to join our Building team in London.
What you'll do:
- As a People Leader/Area Leader, you typically achieve results through defining, assigning and delivering work, and team, objectives by managing other people. These could be your direct reports or be part of projects/areas that you work on.
- Promote the site safety culture, ensure all works are carried out in planned, controlled and safe manner in accordance with statutory regulations, current standards and company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and prefabrication and performance on site.
- Represent the company at meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
- Provide regular written progress reports to monitor performance and highlight deficiencies at an early stage.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Construction related qualification to HNC level.
- Member, or working towards membership, of a professional institution (MCIOB/ICE highly desirable)
- Be in possession of a current Managers CSCS card and other relevant qualifications including SMSTS
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- IT skills - basic MS office/Outlook/Adobe/BIM
