Construction Project Manager

Bramble is seeking an experienced Bid Writing Consultant to support our submission to the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework.

This is a high-impact role, shaping written responses that highlight Bramble’s strengths in delivering complex, regulated projects across defence, nuclear, infrastructure, and the wider built environment. We’re looking for someone who can bring both bid writing excellence and technical authority in construction professional services.

• Lead the drafting, review, and refinement of CPS2 tender responses
• Translate complex technical/regulatory expertise into clear, compelling narratives
• Demonstrate Bramble’s capabilities in nuclear safety, risk management, and multi-disciplinary engineering delivery
• Integrate MMC, RIBA stages, NEC4, and safety legislation into bid responses
• Work with subject matter experts to close content gaps and maximise evaluation scores
• Provide assurance that all content is accurate, compliant, and competitive

• Strong background in construction professional services (defence, nuclear, infrastructure, built environment)
• Hands-on experience with nuclear safety, Safety Case development, or regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of MMC, RIBA project phases, NEC4, and CDM 2015
• Experience with safety management systems, quality planning, and LTQRs
• Proven ability to turn complex technical material into persuasive, high-scoring bids
• Excellent writing, review, and communication skills

• Track record of successful CCS/public sector bid writing
• Familiarity with CPS2 framework or CCS processes
• APMP or equivalent qualification

• Type: Consultancy contract (fixed-term to submission)
• Duration: Until 20th October 2025
• Location: Flexible/remote, with attendance at Bramble’s Vauxhall office minimum 1 day per week (up to 3 days depending on need)
• Day rate: £600–£900/day depending on experience and nuclear/regulatory expertise
