Applications are invited for enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Dermatologists to join our well-established and expanding department. This is a replacement post for a General Dermatologist and is ideally suited for someone with or wishing to develop a specialist interest in, paediatric allergy and immunology and support the outreach service based at Stoke Mandeville hospital and work across the 2 main sites ( Amersham and Stoke Mandeville Hospital . It is anticipated that this post will be for 5 programmed activities per week.

- Provide effective and compassionate care for our Dermatology patients. Whilst there are not currently any inpatient beds, the successful applicant will work closely with medical colleagues to provide inpatient support and outpatient services across the Trust site.
- Develop their own area of specialist interest and provide sub-specialty expertise
- Develop and expand the current Dermatology service locally and regionally
- Work with the Clinical Director and General Manager to review current working practices and drive forward innovative changes to develop new models of care.
- Provide expert advice and support regarding complex cases to clinical colleagues in primary and secondary care.
- Get involved in clinical research, teaching and development
- clinical supervision of Junior members of the team and nursing team
- vetting of referrals
