Substantive 10 PAs (part-time welcome)
At Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, our purpose is clear; to provide healthier futures for children and young people. Sheffield Community CAMHS is a well-established multidisciplinary service working across two sites – Centenary House and The Becton Centre. Our teams work together, sharing expertise and resources to deliver a high-quality, evidence-based service to children, young people, and families.
We’re looking for a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join us, working with young people and families across the south and east of the city. Based at our Centenary House site, this is a replacement full-time post (10 Programmed Activities), with flexibility for part-time working or job sharing.

Reporting into the Clinical Director, your responsibilities will include:
· Providing senior clinical leadership and oversight for the care of referred children and young
people
· Delivering comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
· Working collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team, participating in joint visits, care
planning, and team meetings
· Contributing to citywide service developments and specialist clinics
· Participating in daily triage or referral discussions where required
· Prescribing medication or supervise the Nurse Prescriber
· Offering advice and input into complex case management and treatment planning
· And participating in service planning, audit, and quality improvement
About You:
· MBChB or equivalent, with relevant specialist qualification
· CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or within 6 months of completion)
· Section 12(2) Approval
· Full GMC registration and licence to practise
