Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Special Interest in Facial Deformity and Orthognathic Surgery / Head and Neck Oncology
North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) is seeking to appoint a motivated and forward-thinking Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. We welcome applications from dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with a special interest in facial deformity and orthognathic surgery and/or head and neck oncology surgery .
The post will be based at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle , with an expectation to contribute to service delivery across the Trust. As with all consultant appointments within NCIC, there will be a requirement to provide clinical input at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven , and/or in community clinics across North Cumbria , supporting equitable access to specialist services across the region.
Applications are invited from accredited specialists in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery who are on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining the CCT or equivalent at interview stage. Applicants must be registered with the General Medical Council and hold an appropriate higher surgical qualification and preferably should also be registered with the General Dental Council.
