Consultant Paediatricians – Canterbury

Psicon is seeking exceptional GMC-registered Paediatricians (CCT essential) to join our elite, multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, face-to-face Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 3–18 at our purpose-built clinic in Canterbury on behalf of our private assessment service.

About The Role

As a key clinical member of our team, you will:

  • Conduct thorough ASD and ADHD assessments, integrating clinical observations, ADOS results, and collateral information.
  • Deliver clear, evidence-based diagnoses aligned with DSM-5 and NICE guidelines.
  • Provide compassionate, family-centred feedback and tailored recommendations.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours, supported by our dedicated admin and QA teams.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.

Our Clinics

  • Up to three assessments per day.
  • Competitive per-assessment rates (self-employed, outside IR35).
  • Flexible scheduling available Monday to Sunday.
  • Fully staffed, purpose-built clinic facilities.

  • What We Are Looking For

    • GMC registration with a valid license to practise.
    • CCT in Paediatrics.
    • Demonstrated expertise in ASD and ADHD assessments for children and young people.
    • Willingness to conduct in-person assessments at our Canterbury clinic. (You will be required to do some clinics inside our NHS/RTC services before starting with the Private team)
    • Able to demonstrate competence and confidence in the use of Microsoft Office packages. Training on organisational systems will be provided.
    • Up-to-date with appraisal and revalidation.
