This represents a unique opportunity to develop your career in consulting within an established Big 4 consulting firm. You will have the chance to develop your technical and functional expertise in the Analytics+ tools, as well as in the delivery and implementation of large scale technology solutions as you work on a range of projects in cross-functional teams.

The candidate will be expected to consult with all levels of a client's business and be comfortable in front of the finance business and IT, and from the analysts to the CIO and CFO, and be involved in the full life cycle of a project starting with the initial design of the performance framework through to the implementation of the supporting technology.

As an Advanced Analytics and Reporting Consultant / Senior Consultant, your role will involve:

• Advising on good practice and processes in business reporting in order to improve the visibility, accuracy and timeliness during the reporting cycle.
• Demonstrating knowledge of client decision-making and support processes and key client business drivers.
• Designing and configuring SAP Analytic applications such as:
• SAP Analytics Cloud – Stories, Analytic Applications and Digital Boardroom
• Design and develop embedded analytics solutions within SAP S/4HANA, utilizing tools such as:
• S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics Core Data Services (CDS) Views
• Analytical Queries
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• SAP Fiori Elements
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration (where applicable)
• Create and maintain data models that support reporting requirements.
• Develop custom CDS views and analytical queries to meet specific client needs.
• Implement data security and authorization concepts within the embedded analytics environment.
• Advising on the solution options available to accommodate the client’s requirements and the advantages and disadvantages relating to those options.
• Problem solving to identify and action appropriate remedies for technical errors associated with EPM applications and related components.
• Understanding industry context of analytics and reporting
• Supporting client requirements gathering/analysis workshops.
• Taking responsibility for planning, scoping, managing and creating deliverables as part of a larger project team.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues identified.
• Deploy embedded analytics solutions to production environments.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
• Establishing effective working relationships with peer-level clients as part of project delivery.
• Undertaking practice development activities including contributing to thought leadership pieces, running industry events, delivering training or managing team communications.

As an Advanced Analytics & Reporting Manager, your role will also involve:

• Managing larger teams on projects to deliver tasks, including providing guidance and feedback to junior team members.
• Assisting in the development of client bids.
• Assisting with recruitment activities

To be successful in this role you are required to have:

• Good working knowledge of business reporting disciplines for both management and statutory reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust logical data models and KPI catalogues.
• An understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing concepts, its architecture and schema design.
• Relevant experience working in a financial discipline within management consulting OR relevant experience working in industry in financial / commercial roles.
• Hands on experience with reporting and analytic tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Objects (Webi or AfO)
• Hands on project experience including business requirements analysis, scoping, design and configuration with applicable tools and applications on at least:
• (Consultant) Two full implementation lifecycles.
• (Senior Consultant) Three full implementation lifecycles.
• Ability to translate technical information to non-technical individuals is essential, as well as the ability to present this to a range of audiences in a clear, concise and appropriate manner.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Consistently high quality personal and professional standards.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Additional desirable experience includes:

• Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse, Enterprise HANA or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud modelling
• Technical certification on any of the technologies mentioned above.
• Experience of PowerBI, Tableau or native Hyperscaler analytics tools

Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) Views.
• Proficiency in developing analytical queries and KPIs.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Elements development.
• Understanding of SAP Authorization Concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and data model.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration is a plus.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• ABAP skills are a plus (especially for enhancing CDS views).
