Barking Havering and Redbridge University Trust is seeking to appoint a full-time Locum Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics for (Lower limb -Hip and Knees) . The post holder would be expected to complement the current workforce in working with the Trauma and Orthopaedic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, dynamic multidisciplinary team within one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country. The post holder will work closely with the existing Trauma and Orthopaedics team to deliver high quality patient care cross a broad range of services.
The role will be job planned to include 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), aimed at enhancing and supporting the delivery of trauma and orthopaedic services to our diverse population.
The successful candidate would be managing patient in outpatient clinics, including the fracture and virtual fracture clinics and they would be involved in triaging duties. The will operating in both elective and trauma theatres. They will provide support and teaching to junior medical staff across Trust sites. They will also be contributing to service improvement initiatives.
