Contract Content Designer

Hybrid - Once a week in Newcastle - expenses paid

6 month initial contract

£500pd inside IR35

We require a Content Designer to help us deliver a project with one of our public sector clients.

Design, write and iterate clear, user-focused content in plain English
Collaborate through pair writing and support fact-checking processes
Create business documents and guidance that improve user experience and are easy to follow
Apply GDS and accessibility standards, ensuring all content is inclusive and accessible
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including user researchers, designers, and policy leads

Essential Experience:

Proven experience working in public sector/government organisations
Strong understanding of GDS style, Service Manual and Accessibility standards
Ability to translate complex policy or guidance into clear, user-friendly content
Confident working in agile teams and using evidence to inform content decisions
