About the Role
BWS is looking for a Contract Engineer to join a high-profile, multi-billion USD EPC project for an LNG plant in Louisiana, USA. Based in our Paris Home Office, you will play a key role in managing complex contractual relationships and ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Contract Manager in managing the prime contract post-signature.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations by all stakeholders.
- Draft and review correspondence with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and settlements of change orders and claims.
- Provide legal and contractual support to procurement and subcontracting teams.
- Liaise with Legal, Compliance, IP, Insurance, Treasury, and Tax teams for expert support.
- Report functionally to the Head of Contract Management and operationally to the Contract Manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry and EPC projects.
- Strong background in contract management and legal negotiations.
- Knowledge of compliance, intellectual property, and insurance matters.
- Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with English/Common Law and standard office software.
