Location: Glasgow (Office-based with travel across sites in Scotland)

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

Role Overview

Experienced Contracts Manager with a background in roofing and cladding, and ideally some exposure to hard metals. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects across Scotland, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roofing and cladding contracts
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld across all sites
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and contractual obligations
• Prepare and review project documentation, including risk assessments and method statements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in roofing and cladding
• Knowledge of hard metals is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant management qualifications
• SMSTS certification
• CSCS Black Card (Construction Manager level)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to travel across Scotland as required

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
