Contract SAP Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Business Analyst (FI/CO) for a unique and challenging contract opportunity within the manufacturing sector. This is not a typical BA role — we’re looking for someone who brings deep SAP FI/CO expertise, strong functional knowledge, and the confidence to work independently in a complex environment.

This contract is likely to be outside IR35, working on a hybrid basis. Visiting the Manchester office up to 2 days per week.

This position will require you to own and drive initiatives, working closely with business and technical teams. You must be comfortable leading conversations, managing vendor relationships, and navigating intricate SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP FI/CO, with strong knowledge of Material Ledger.
• Support and optimise processes within SAP ECC environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Manage and support OpenText vendor management solutions.
• Provide functional expertise to support finance and controlling modules across manufacturing operations.
• Work independently, taking ownership of your domain with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements and support activities within the SAP ecosystem.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant or Business Analyst in manufacturing environments.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Material Ledger and ECC.
• Experience with OpenText for vendor management solutions.
• Ability to work independently and confidently — this is a senior role that demands initiative and leadership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ideally able to work onsite 2 days per week.
