We are seeking a Senior Product Designer on an outside IR35 contract delivering on project work in our Corporate Banking space in London. This is a unique opportunity to lead projects in complex product areas and create an outstanding user experience across both app and web journeys. Your work will have a significant impact on one of the most high-profile digital projects within the bank.

What you will be doing

• User Empathy: Develop a deep understanding of our clients' needs, motivations, and behaviours to inform design decisions.
• Design Excellence: Create high-quality product design outputs for immediate sprint demands and future roadmap concepts.
• Team Culture: Shape the environment and culture of our UK design team by bringing your ideas, passions, and fun to the table.
• Global Contribution: Contribute to our global design system and community, ensuring consistency and quality across products.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, engineers, and other designers to drive product delivery and client outcomes at speed.
• Advocacy: Build influence and collaboration with other teams to advocate for design and uphold design quality at Investec

What we are looking for

• Experience: You are a product designer with an extensive track record delivering user-centric initiatives. You have successfully worked within multidisciplinary teams to bring products to market.
• Financial services: Experience in the Financial Services / Banking sector is essential. Experience in Business banking would be a plus
• Portfolio and Scale: You possess a portfolio showcasing impactful work that solves real problems for real users, and you have experience delivering in bigger projects / programmes of work collaborating across multiple teams
• UX Skills: You have a strong UX skill set, including user research, user journeys, design, prototyping, and user testing. You are comfortable running workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Curiosity: You are curious and eager to learn, thriving on tackling difficult and complex problems, breaking them down, and challenging assumptions to create novel solutions.
• Adaptability: You are comfortable working in uncertainty and have the ability to build structure and rigour at speed.
• Design Systems: You have experience working with design systems and may have contributed to their development and expansion.
