Role: Contract Solution Architect (Endur)

Project: Trading platform transformation (Endur)

Location: London (hybrid 3 days per week)

Contract: 6 months rolling (5 year programme)

Rate: £1200/d inside IR35

X4 Technology are partnered with a global energy trading firm on a major multi-year transformation of it's Crude & Products business (oil, refined products, low-carbon fuels). The programme centres on shaping the end-to-end architecture of the Products Trading platform, with Endur (v26) at its core.

The focus is on evaluating current capabilities, selectively leveraging Endur features and unlocking value without unnecessary over-customisation. You’ll architect across a complex ecosystem, designing a robust, scalable trading platform fit for the future. This is a high-priority, VP-sponsored programme with strong visibility, committed funding and a 5+ year delivery runway.

Requirements for the Contract Solution Architect (Endur)

Key to the programme is a hands-on, full-application Endur Solution Architect joining on a long-term basis. This role focuses on providing end-to-end ownership across the entire Endur platform, partnering with the lead architect to design a fully architected, scalable and future-proof trading system. You’ll guide decisions across Endur modules, workflows, integrations and cloud deployment. We're looking for the following:

Broad end-to-end knowledge of Endur, covering trading, risk, settlements, reporting and other key modules
Hands-on experience integrating Endur within a broader enterprise architecture including data flows, system integrations and downstream platforms
Ability to simplify and rationalise the Endur landscape, reducing unnecessary customisations while maintaining functionality

The role is for a 6 month rolling contract, with multi year scope. The rate is £1200/d inside IR35, working in central London on a hybrid basis (3 days per week).
