We are excited to be expanding our current Contracts Team within the Adults directorate to be recruiting to a Contract Support Officer roles to assist us in delivering the organisations mission of improving health and care outcomes for the people of Manchester.

The MLCO has been established by its partners: NHS Manchester ICB, Manchester City Council, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Manchester Mental Health Service NHS Trust and Manchester Primary Care Partnership to integrate, plan and manage community health and social care across the City. The goal is to improve outcomes for our citizens and support individuals to make informed choices about their health and care needs.

Opportunity/Role

These exciting opportunities are being introduced in recognition of the important work the Contracts team undertakes within the MLCO and Manchester City Council but supporting our front line teams in delivering the best care of our citizens

Each role offers an opportunity for professional development and experience to be gained to support future career progression and is an ideal position for individuals fresh out of education or individuals with real work life experience who are keen to personally develop and engage in a rewarding career.

The roles both operate 35hrs per week, Monday to Friday. The successful post-holders will receive training and development in drafting, negotiating and managing contracts as well as being the focal point for the contracts team inbox. We promote hybrid working as well as offering the post-holders the opportunity to work in heart of the city centre.
